Repair Kopitiam Event

- House Rules -

1.

SL2 Impact Pte Ltd. organises Repair Kopitiam Singapore as a community initiative to tackle the buy-and-throw-away culture in Singapore.

2.

Repair Kopitiam Singapore intends to provide a platform for you to repair your items with the advice & support of Repair Coaches (RC) where necessary.

3.

You can register a maximum of 2 items each time. You are a part of the repair process. We reserve the right to reject fixing an item if it poses a risk or if coaches at the site are not equipped to assist in the repairs.

4.

If you bring in an item for repair, you do so at your own risk.

5.

Neither the organisers of Repair Kopitiam Singapore nor the RCs are liable for any loss that may result from advice or instructions concerning repairs, for the loss of items handed over for repair, for consequential loss, or for any other kind of loss resulting from work performed in Repair Kopitiam Singapore. They will also not be liable for any injuries resulting from repair work.

Our Repair Coaches are volunteers and offer their services for free. While they will try their best to assist you, they offer no guarantees on the effectiveness of their advice.

7.

Repair Coaches are entitled to decline assistance and are not obliged to reassemble dismantled items.

8.

While everyday consumables and tools are made available for use free of charge, participants may have to provide specific spare parts themselves to complete the repair.

9.

Visitors to Repair Kopitiam Singapore are solely responsible for the tidy removal of broken items that cannot be repaired. Participants are not allowed to leave their things behind.

10.

Photographs taken at this event, individually or in a group, will be used to promote and publicise Repair Kopitiam Singapore initiatives.
