Repair Kopitiam was founded in 2014 in an attempt to tackle consumerism and the growing waste issue by guiding Singapore residents to try to repair their broken items before throwing them away. 

Repair Kopitiam today is a strong movement that have created a unique platform and a safe place for all to learn DIY repair. The last available Sunday monthly is Repair Kopitiam's National Repair Day. The public can book a time slot to meet our coaches to learn to DIY repair their own items.

By end 2024, Repair Kopitiam has 11 event sites with more than 200 regular coaches.
