How can I know if my items can be repaired?

There are many aspects in DIY Repairs that determine if an item is repairable.

  1. caused by a common/generic item like a fuse - Repairable
  2. caused by proprietary component but available - Purchase and Replace. These components may be: a. Physical Mechanical Parts unique to the device, b. power sources, BMS or batteries specific to the devices, c. PCB unique to the device, d. Device specific connectors, etc.)
  3. caused by proprietary component but not able to obtain easily - need to look for parts in open market, or if possible find someone to fix the component (not possible at site)
  4. caused by major component failure - consider the safety during repair and after repair usage, ease to reinstall (repairability) and availability of the replacement major component or if a generic replacement is possible.

Essentially, there is no way for us to know if you item can or cannot be fixed without giving us a chance to look at it.

If the coaches at the location is unable to fix your item, they will reject your booking and inform you of the reason. This is usually because we are not able to look at it because

  1. none of the coaches are capable to fix the item,
  2. we do not have the specific tools or equipment to repair it
